Bringing Theater Home with TCL’s New 75” Smart TV!

Hey! Who wouldn’t love having a theater-like experience right in their living room, without breaking the bank, right? So, let me tell you about this awesome deal — the TCL 75-inch V6P Google Smart TV!

Now, back in the day, huge TVs like these used to be super expensive, but not anymore. TCL’s giving us a 75-inch TV for under ₹80,000! Yep, you read that right. This is the 2024 variant, and it also comes in 65-inch, 55-inch, 50-inch, and 43-inch versions.

TCL packed in everything you’d want:

  • 4K HDR support
  • HDMI 2.1
  • Two-way Bluetooth
  • 16GB storage
  • All the popular OTT apps already there!

So, I’ve been using this TV for about two weeks now, and I wanna share what I’ve experienced so far. Let’s dive in!

The First Impression

The box for the 75-inch TV is massive! It’s got 4K UHD written boldly on it with some key features like HDMI 2.1, HDR10, Chromecast built-in, and 16GB storage. The AIQ processor and Dolby Audio logos are right there on top too.

One cool thing? The TV comes with a 4-star energy rating, which means it won’t eat up your electricity.

Quick tip: Don’t try to unbox it yourself. TCL sends a technician to your home to unbox and set it up for free!

What’s Inside the Box?

  • Warranty certificate
  • Operational manual
  • Two matte-finish plastic stands (super sturdy, with rubber grips)
  • Power cord
  • AV adapter (for old set-top boxes)
  • Two AAA batteries (for the remote)
  • And, of course, the remote!

Remote Control Time!

The remote is compact and easy to hold, and it’s got this cool textured finish. Buttons? Power, mute, Google Assistant, settings, d-pad for navigating, volume, channel, and a bunch of shortcut keys for Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, etc.

Setting It Up

We fixed the stands, placed the TV on the table, and peeled off the screen protector. So satisfying! The bezels are almost invisible on three sides, and the metal frame with a matte finish looks super sleek.

Ports? You get three HDMI ports, two USB-A ports, LAN, optical, and even a headphone jack. Now, if you wall-mount the TV, the ports can be a bit hard to reach, so keep that in mind.

Key Specs at a Glance

  • 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels)
  • 60Hz refresh rate
  • AIQ processor
  • HDR10 support
  • 16GB storage
  • 30W Dolby Audio
  • Google TV OS

The Display is WOW

This TV’s display is seriously stunning. The AIQ processor with Dynamic Color Enhancement makes everything pop, but it still feels natural. Watching HDR content is an absolute joy on this 75-inch screen. It’s super sharp and detailed, and even the black levels are decent. Though, sometimes it might look a bit greyish in really dark scenes.

The viewing angles are amazing too, so even if you’re sitting off to the side, the colors and picture quality still look great.

Brightness Check

TCL says the TV has 330 nits of brightness, and it looks fantastic with HDR content. Even in dark scenes, you can clearly see all the details. So if you’re worried about brightness — don’t be!

Smart Features & Apps

The Google TV interface is super smooth. You get rows of apps like Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and recommendations from all your favorite apps right on the home screen.

There’s 9.2GB of usable storage (after the OS takes its share), and you can download over 10,000 apps and games! Everything you can think of is available.

YouTube & Netflix Look Great!

The TV plays 4K 60fps YouTube videos without any hiccups. The Netflix app is also really well-optimized for smart TVs, with loads of HDR content. The HDR videos on Netflix are bright, clear, and super sharp.

Gaming on a 75-inch Beast

For gamers out there, you’ll be happy to know that the TV supports HDR and even has Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) for a smoother gaming experience. I tested it with my PS5, and it was smooth as butter. Gaming on a 75-inch screen is next-level awesome.

Audio Experience

The TV has 30W down-firing speakers with Dolby Audio. It gets loud enough to fill a big room, but if you want that extra punch, I’d recommend getting a soundbar.

Final Verdict

A 75-inch TV brings a whole new level of experience to your home. Whether it’s movies, sports, or gaming, it feels like you’re in a theater. And at ₹79,999, it’s a fantastic deal. Sure, it doesn’t have Dolby Vision, but for this price, you’re getting a lot!

If you’re interested in smaller sizes, TCL also has this TV in 65, 55, 50, and 43 inches. I’ve linked them all below. So, go ahead and check it out!

Hope this was helpful. Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. Until next time, cheers!
